Wedding photo sharing

Collect the wedding photos still on your guests’ phones.

The view from the back row. Friends getting ready. The dance floor after you left it. Your guests’ photos add another view of the day alongside your professional photographs.

Give everyone one QR code or album link. Guests choose the photos they want to share in their phone browser, with no app or guest account needed.

Set up the album before you print the signs

Create an album with your email address and a name guests will recognise. Keep access to that inbox: you sign in by email to manage the album.

Try the guest flow in a separate rehearsal album: scan the QR code, select a photo, wait for confirmation and check that it appears. A test photo starts the hosting period, so use your event album only when you are ready for that countdown to begin.

  • Check the venue connection with a phone where guests will actually use it.
  • Print a sample QR sign and scan it at its final size.
  • Choose who will remind guests to add their photos and who will download the collection.

Make the invitation easy to notice

Put a short invitation beside the QR code: “Add your photos to our wedding album.” Tables, the bar and a photo corner are useful places to try. Keep the code clear of folds, glare and decorative backgrounds.

A brief reminder from the host or MC can explain what to do: scan, choose a few photos and wait for upload confirmation. Send the album link too, so guests have another way to open it.

Give the camera rolls a second chance

People may forget to upload while they are celebrating. Send a friendly follow-up with the same album link while it is still active, and ask for a few favourite photos.

Check the remaining capacity and expiry date before you send that message. Download your copy before hosting ends; saving it is your step, rather than an automatic keepsake delivery.

A small collection, with clear limits

Your Free album holds up to 100 photos in total and stays available for 14 days from its first successful upload. No payment card needed. Videos are not included.

The limit applies to the whole album, not to each guest. Free works for a small collection or trying the guest flow. If you need a larger collection or a longer upload window, the current Free offer will not cover it.

Photos are normally optimised to at most 4,000 pixels on the longest edge. Keep the camera originals separately if you need untouched files, larger prints or room for substantial cropping.

Choose what you share and how guests open it

Guests open the album in their browser without installing an app or creating an account. By default, people with the shared link or QR code can view its photos while the album is active. A link can be forwarded, and recipients can save copies.

Optional password protection and browser-side encryption are available during album creation. If you use a password, guests need it. For an encrypted album, share the full link or its generated QR code so the browser receives the key. Keep a safe copy of that complete link.

If a guest gets stuck

Ask them to open the link in their usual browser, check their connection and select photos from the phone’s picker. They should keep the page open until it confirms the upload. If it fails, follow the retry message and check which photos already completed.

No. Guests open the album in a browser and choose photos from their phone. The host uses email sign-in to manage it. Any password or encryption protection you enable also applies to guest access.
